Our research aims to understand how quorum sensing pathways function in commensal organisms of the human gastrointestinal and vaginal tract.

Our student-focused instruction aims to promote diversity and inclusion within biology courses for undergraduate and graduate students. 

Research

Our research provides students the opportunity to develop skills in molecular biology and microbiology. 

Service and resources

Alongside Benedictine faculty, we seek to promote biological sciences to students of all ages. Look for us at many STEM events throughout the Chicago/suburbs area.
