Tiara Perez Morales
My desire to learn about how microorganisms communicate goes back to my undergraduate research days. I have always been fascinated at how bacteria can sense and react to their environment. In our lab, we want to understand how specific cell-cell communication systems are used to benefit host-microbe interactions in our gastrointestinal tract.

Ciera Duffy, BS Biology (2020), has been a successful lab biologist at ITT Research Institute. She completed her first year in the PhD program at UIC Chicago!
Ahsan Adil graduated with a BS in Health Science and is now in the medical program at Midwestern University.

Natalie Figueroa, BS Biology (2021) , completed her first year of medical school at PHSU!
